Congratulations to our Katie Martini — now officially Mrs. Bachmann. 🤍
For more than four years, Katie has been a part of D Duncan. And somewhere along the way, through the busy days, long nights, celebrations, challenges, laughter and everything in between, you get the privilege of watching someone grow through the different seasons of their life.
Yesterday was one of those moments I’ll never forget.
Katie was an absolutely beautiful bride. The ceremony was beautiful, the reception was incredible, and seeing her so genuinely happy made the entire day that much more special.
But throughout the day, I kept thinking about time.
We talk so much about how quickly time passes and how we never seem to have enough of it. But we don’t talk enough about what time gives us.
Time connects us to people we once didn’t know. People we never could have predicted would become part of our story. And somewhere between ordinary days and big milestones, those people begin to matter to us more than we realize.
Four-plus years ago, Katie became a member of my staff. Yesterday, I had the privilege of sitting there and watching her begin an entirely new chapter of her life.
And I’m incredibly grateful for the time in between.
Katie, watching you grow, accomplish your goals, and step into each new milestone has been such a privilege. Thank you for allowing us to be a small part of your story and for letting us celebrate this beautiful moment with you.
