A little something different from K-Dog today… my very first YouTube tutorial!

I thought it would be fun to take you behind the scenes and show you step by step how I make one of our engraved w**e glasses with the beachy epoxy bottom, stem and base.

There’s definitely more that goes into these than you might think. From prepping and lasering the glass to adding all of the finishing touches, each glass takes about 45 minutes of hands-on work — and that doesn’t even include drying and curing time.

I’m still learning new things with our new laser every day, so I figured why not bring you along for the process?

Once these glasses are completely finished, I’ll make a quick follow-up video showing the epoxy process and the final results too.

K-Dog Custom Designs will be at Salty Sam’s Pirate Festival, and we can’t wait to see everyone out there!

NEW TOY DAY AT K-DOG!

We just added a brand-new laser to the K-Dog workshop and obviously I couldn’t let it sit there untouched for long. 😂

First project out of the gate was this gorgeous acacia wood cookbook stand, made especially for our friend Mary. I designed the engraving just for her and I’m pretty happy with how our first run turned out!

And yes… this means custom cookbook stands are officially a thing now. Names, sayings, wedding gifts, housewarming gifts, your grandma’s kitchen, your crazy friend’s kitchen… you name it, we can design something completely different for you.

I have a feeling this new laser is going to get us into some trouble.

🏴‍☠️ AHOY, FORT MYERS BEACH! 🏴‍☠️

We’re excited to announce that K-Dog Custom Designs will be a vendor at Salty Sam’s Pirate Festival! ⚓️☠️🌴

We’ll be bringing along plenty of our handmade coastal creations, so come find the K-Dog booth, say hi, shop local, and enjoy a day full of pirates, live music, vendors, food, drinks and FUN! 🌊🐚

And apparently everyone dresses like pirates, so we may have to get into character ourselves. 😂🏴‍☠️

We’re really looking forward to being part of this one and spending the day at one of our favorite places — Fort Myers Beach! 💙🌴

Another K-Dog w**e rack finished!
