As the Administrator of First Round Draft, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to our incredible team, our loyal regulars, our supportive locals, and the entire Cape Coral community who came out this weekend to help us celebrate our final send-off.

On Sunday, July 6th, 2025, we officially closed the doors to FRD — but what a way to finish this chapter. It was nothing short of epic. From the laughter to the hugs, the shared stories to the raised glasses, this weekend reminded us just how special this place truly is.

We’ve created more than just a bar and grille — we’ve built a family. So many of you have been with us from the beginning, and together, we’ve made memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you for every visit, every cheer, and every moment spent with us along the waterfront.

Please know — this is not goodbye. This is a step forward. We’re moving toward something even bigger and better, and we cannot wait to welcome you back to the next chapter.

Until then, thank you for believing in us, standing with us, and celebrating with us.

As we close the doors to First Round Draft, we want to take a moment to say thank you — from the bottom of our hearts — for every laugh, every memory, every drink shared, and every moment spent here with us. FRD wasn’t just a bar — it was a family. A home base. A mission we were proud to serve, side by side with the best locals and community anyone could ever ask for.

Today, we invite all of you to join us for one final toast. 🍻

As we continue to grow and build the future of First Round Draft, we want to share that at the close of business on Sunday, July 6th, 2025, FRD will officially close its doors… but only for now.

This is not goodbye—it’s simply the next step toward something bigger and better. We’re working hard behind the scenes to bring you a new and improved FRD that’s worth every moment of this temporary pause. We’re talking new bar, new vibes, same heart—and yes, your seat will be waiting.
