Hey out there in CanyonLakeLand, Wagon Wheel may be closed for awhile, but Slushy's Adult (&Kid) Sno-Cones is open for the yummiest (seriously, folks, these things are delicious!), coldest treats you can beat the heat with. 16 oz of the most fun one can have! You will feel like a kid again, and cop a buzz.Slushy's Sno-Cones is a drive-thru window in the little brown building right next door to Wagon Wheel main entrance. Open Thursday thru Sunday, 3-8, or as late as we are getting customers, all summer long. Fall, too? I mean, be honest. This is central Texas; one of these would taste good and hit the spot on Christmas morning!
Come up the driveway that passes next to The Dam Ol' Hippie Shack on the north or east side of FM 306, there are signs for a Bar, Wagon Wheel Dance Hall, and Real Church along the driveway. At the top of the driveway you will see Slushy's little brown building to the left, in between you and Wagon Wheel Dance Hall. Just drive up to the window, order your favorite flavor(s) from the menu, and in less than two minutes you are slurping down the sweetest, coldest, absolutely most delicious slush/sno-cone/shaved ice creation available. And they each have the equivalent alcohol of about 2 shots of 80 proof. (They are all made with wine-based authentic tasting alcohols at 17%.) You need to get these home asap so you can get comfortable while you cool down and relax with one (or 2, or...?) of these beauties! Internal air-conditioning of the highest order! Heavenly textured, succulently flavored, amazingly cooling, and thoroughly relaxing. In fact, come to think of it, you best take home a six-pack of these incredible creations to share with whoever else is home. Otherwise, you will just be forced to go back out and buy enough to share. Really! And we do have kid-rated versions, if you are one of those adults who need to provide for any and all such.
