⚠️This morning I found myself doing what so many moms do.
My daughter got sick overnight 😩 & first thing this morning we were off to the pediatrician. 🏎️
Thankfully our doctor offers walk in sick hours so we were able to get her seen quickly💪, pick up medication, & (hopefully!) get her feeling better soon. 🎉
As I sat in the room I couldn’t help but think about how valuable it is when a professional service meets families where they are in life. 🫶
Parents, especially moms, often carry the invisible mental load of the household. We’re juggling work schedules 🤹, daycare pickups, sports practices⚽️, grocery lists, doctor appointments👩⚕️, school forms📝, birthday parties🥳, and about a thousand other things that never make it onto a checklist. 🚌
✳️ But here’s a question that often gets pushed aside:
👀 If something happened to you today, would someone else know exactly what to do for your children? 🤔
❓If you were in an accident while traveling, who could authorize medical treatment?
❓If the unthinkable happened and you passed away unexpectedly, who would care for your children?
❓Would that person have the legal authority they need?
Thinking about these questions is important, but thinking about them isn’t enough. ❌
Until your wishes are put into legally enforceable documents they’re simply wishes. 🙏
At Joyful Legacy Law we help families create plans that protect the people they love most so they can stop worrying about the “what ifs” & start enjoying the moments that matter❣️
Because true peace of mind comes from knowing your family is protected no matter what tomorrow brings.
💛 If you’ve been meaning to get your estate plan in place we’d be honored to help. 💚
