Get ready for an awesome day. This is a real problem with our veterans that fight demons we cannot see, some of them come home but don't really unsee what they've seen or went through. This is a big deal here at the Fawcett Post #1582 and we are committed to doing all we can to prevent the 22 a day that take their lives because they think that they can't go on anymore. If you know a veteran just take the time to ask them if their OK and just talk to them and let them know your there to help if they need it. If your a veteran and are having difficulty, please the doors here are are always open and there's always someone here to talk to.

Don't forget the legion will be open on Monday with our annual horseshoe tournament. Starting after the Arkport parade, we start signing up around one. Hopefully start playing around two double elimination.Everybody's welcome 10$ per person draw for partners. Hope to see everybody.There have a good time

Busy weekend here at the legion as we get ready to pay respects to those that have payed the ultimate sacrifice, Today we place flags on the Graves of the soldiers that have fought and died for our freedoms. If you are interested in helping we start at 9am. This weekend is the time to remember the men and women that payed the ultimate sacrifice, Remember freedom isn't free thank your local veterans!!
