TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS
It is with a heavy heart that we need to announce the closing of the restaurant to the public for the summer months of June, July and August and possibly longer. It has been challenging to remain open with the ongoing family medical issues we have been facing. We have decided this with the knowledge that the summer months are upon us. Looking back to last years utility bills being extremely high and increasing this year according to Ameren. Recognizing we are only open two days a week and can sometimes barely find help for that. Also, many of our employees need off more in the summer with weddings, fairs, festivals, church functions and all the great summertime once a year events. We believe this is the best path for now at least. Hopefully things calm down and we can come back with food in some form sooner than later.
The winery will remain open Friday and Saturday to enjoy a bottle of wine or to grab and go. We also will continue to book events such as showers, anniversaries, rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, and wedding receptions for the foreseeable future.
We would like to thank our dedicated customers that helped keep us going over the years. Many times we were shorthanded because of lack of notice on crowd size and sometimes we just couldn't find the help. It was good to know that we had devoted and patient customers. We appreciate you all.
