Dear Camden friends and neighbors,
It’s hard to find the right words to express how grateful we are for the love and support this community has shown us over the past 15 years. When we moved here from York, PA on February 10, 2010, it was to follow Bronson’s dream of owning a bowling alley. Lucky Shots quickly became more than a business—it became our home, and you all became our extended family.
Through birthday parties, league nights, fundraisers, and snowstorms—you were there. And we cherished every moment spent helping families and friends make memories together.
As many of you know, on February 19th of this year, Camden was hit with one of the harshest winters in recent memory. The excessive amounts of snow caused the roof of the bowling alley—and our attached apartment—to collapse. We are incredibly thankful we made it out safely with our dog, cat, and the clothes on our backs.
Due to safety concerns, we weren’t allowed to re-enter the building until weeks later. The insurance company has since declared the building a total loss, and demolition is now underway.
Though the building may be gone, the memories and friendships we’ve made here will always be with us.
We also want to thank Gary, who stepped up in 2019 to take over running Lucky Shots. His dedication kept the doors open and the lanes rolling through some of the most challenging years.
With heavy hearts, we want to share that we’ve made the decision to move back to Pennsylvania to be closer to our family as we begin this new chapter.
From the bottom of our hearts—thank you, Camden. Thank you for embracing us, supporting us, and making this small-town dream something truly special.
With love and gratitude,
Bronson & Gail
