We have made the difficult decision to close The Asgard permanently. With the ongoing pandemic, offices at low occupancy, labor shortages, challenging governmental directives and an uncertain economy, the reality is it’s just not feasible.
We thank our landlords for working with us for the past year and a half. We thank the Massachusetts Biotech Council for hosting their annual events with us. We thank all our biotech neighbors for making us a de-facto research annex, where brilliant minds could brainstorm over a pint. We thank the Central Square Business Association for their tireless devotion to area businesses. We thank Harvard, MIT and BU. We thank the college and Cambridge Police, and we keep Officer Sean Collier in our hearts. We thank all of our employees, and the folks who worked with us to entertain the crowds. We thank St. Patrick, for a really great holiday. And we thank all of you, our wonderful patrons for the past 20 years.
