Founded in 2015, Southside Brewing Co provides delicious craft beers for our restaurant, Georgetown Tavern on the Hill.

"I’ve been Brewing for over 6 years, continuing to study several styles and techniques.Brewing Books and podcast have become my new norm. My wife and I enjoy traveling and one of the first things we look for when picking a destination is “Where is good beer?”. Something I’m frequently asked is “ what’s your favorite beer?” this is a question I feel is impossible to answer because well ... I love all beer. From Pilsners to IPA’s, stouts to saisons and especially the funky sours.I’ve shared pints upon pints with friends, family and strangers who then become friends, just like my brewing partner Mark. Learning about brewing is a never ending journey full of great pints and people.”

"Brewing has been a passion of mine for some time now. It started about twelve years ago when my wife, Angie, surprised me with a homebrew kit for Christmas. I gave it a try and have been brewing and making beer ever since. Brewing with Zach is nothing new as we’ve been sharing techniques and brew days for a couple of years. You’ll be hard pressed to find a more capable and talented young man than Zach.”
