𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝟲𝟱 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗯𝘆 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. Notes from the contractor: The rain this week is delaying rumble strip installation and striping the lane markings for the highway. The Contractor, Knife River, and their subcontractors are working daily on items that can be placed or installed in these weather conditions.

Next year, Highway 65 will be closed between Highway 107 and Highway 70 to finish the last 5 miles. The past month, the contractor was able to remove the old and install all 11 new culverts that crosses the highway. The dry weather helped MnDOT and the Contractor to so this work without having to deal with the saturated peat under these culverts.

Tentative start date for next years work is May 2027. The goal is to finish before July 4, 2027.!
