The Dump

WOW... That was nothing short of amazing! The way our friends, customers, supporters, and the entire Dump family rose to the occasion. All of us at The Dump cannot thank you enough. This was a big deal to us, and wanted a different result but, we had fun, made new friends and will be here to battle another day. I want to extend our gratitude to each and everyone of you that took time out of your busy schedules to support us through our run in this Burger Challenge. You know who you are. THANK YOU!

I also want to thank the people behind the scenes at Wonderfully Wisconsin for putting this awesome challenge together, and their diligence in running it so flawlessly. We are very proud to have been selected to share the spotlight with so many quality establishments, and hope to be invited back in the future.

We want to extend a large congratulations to Pete's for the job they were able to do. Your social media presence was too much for us to over come. Cambria is a town of 700, and to compete as we did with another establishment that hails from an area that boasts a population north of 67,000, speaks for itself. The final count was roughly 4000 votes for Pete's, and 3700 for The Dump. They had an answer for everything we threw at them. We would get within a couple hundred votes and they were able to summons another 200-300 votes themselves. It was definitely a heavyweight bout all the way, and we enjoyed every minute of it.

I can not thank my staff enough for the effort that goes into the job they do day after day, week after week. The commitment and dedication that they show is second to none. I wouldn't trade them for nothing! I have been blessed to have put some very remarkable people around me, I am blessed.

I want to wish both Cedar Lodge and Pete's good luck in the final. As for us, we are not going anywhere. We plan to remain on the forefront of the industry, and just continue to improve on what we started.

Thanks again to everyone involved. We had a blast, and we will be back.

Let’s do double duty with this month’s BOM post.
We are in the final 4 of the statewide “Wonderfully Wisconsin” Burger Challenge. Voting resumes this Wednesday 9/2. We need your vote!
