This Friday April 26th, my place of employment "Pepe's in Calumet City, will be having a benefit/dance for the purpose to raise money for a friend and fellow coworker. A few months ago Jaime was diagnosed with cancer and is now going through chemotherapy. Due to these treatments, he has not been able to work. Jaime is the sole provider for his family of 5. Jaime has no health insurance. God only knows how he is making ends meet. I am inviting everyone to come out and help raise money to help Jaime and his family. If anyone deserves this, it is him. He is one of the strongest cooks we have. He's a very hard worker in that kitchen. Our kitchen has not been the same since he has been gone. Some of the Pepe's family has donated a 55" LG 4K SmartTV to be raffled off that evening. Tickets for the raffle are only $10. Anyone can enter the raffle. You don't have to be present to win the TV. We will call the winner. We will have tons more raffles that evening as well. We will be having food and lots of music (6 DJ's and 2 live Bands - Los Audis de Mexico and Group Eskandal). Everyone please please join us. We will have a great time and at the same time help out a good family in need. Yes, there will be a cover charge. I can't say for sure how much. Regardless, all the money we collect at the door and the raffles will be given to Jaime and his family. The DJ's and Bandas will be donating their time for this event. Some of the workers will be donating their tips. I truly hope everyone can make it!!! See you Friday!.....Thank You in advance.
