Today my vendor spotlight is…
The Boardwalk
Being a mobile bar we travel all over from place to place. We see a lot of great venues but one I am always just WOWed by is The Boardwalk. They are always going above and beyond. The owners and staff are both so accommodating, friendly, and always ready to help. Like truly you are treated like royalty there. Not to mention they have everything on site to create a stress free perfect day. From their unique bridal suite, beautiful ceremony site (over looking the St. Joseph River), picture perfect reception area, to great photo opportunities all over their grounds. It’s such a cool venue! If you haven’t added them to your list of places to check out you totally should.

Today my vendor shout out is one of the best Chef’s I have encountered. Chef Alexander Gandia is one in a million. Him, his beautiful wife, and kids are all so hard working and amazing at what they do. Every time I work a wedding where he is the caterer the guests are blown away at how delicious the food is. I always feel like it’s a special treat when we get to take a break and try what they are serving up. It’s a WHOLE experience. From apps, dinner, dessert, treats, to BOMB late night snacks. Not to mention the set up and food itself is a work of art. His family brings people’s events to the next level!

I thought it would be fun for the month of February to highlight some of the vendors I have worked with over the last year that I ❤️ LOVE! Some of the best of the best that I have seen this past year… people who really go above and beyond, who truly care about their clients and just blow it out of the park. One of the best parts of this job is the fun people you meet along the way.

I’m thankful for a super great friend who happens to be good at a lot of things. He was even a piece of working on Maggie, helping with electrical work and wheel bearings. This summer he married the girl of his dreams and I was pretty stoked that we not only got to be “guests” at his wedding but I finally got to do something nice back for him-by bartending his special day for him and the girl of his dreams. I owe him like a million and one favors from all the ways he has been a blessing. So it was fun to be able to be part of his special day in a fun way with the mobile bar. Extra bonus for my husband and I that night as we got married at the same place 11 years ago.

🍻 Cheers to good friends and getting to see the fruit of waiting on the person of your dreams.

It truly is a blessing getting to do something I love.
This past year was filled with new places, kind people, working with my family and my wonderful friends.

This wonderful wedding pulled out all the stops. From the tastiest bourbon options to surprise bag pipers playing 🎶 the Notre Dame theme song.
It was so special getting to know this family and seeing all the little touches that made the wedding day just extraordinary. We felt honored to be part of such a memorable-most joyous occasion.

When this sweet bride told me their theme was vintage adventure … I felt like we would fit right in.
I spent hours on the phone with this couple before meeting them in person. I was 100% sure that I was going to love them. From how much she cared about people (including her vendors) to the fact that part of the must have photos was Taco Bell after the reception. Truly was a special time getting to celebrate their well thought out special day. We love getting to be on this journey ….even if it’s having to try a shot of Malört 🤣 🤮 🤢 The Boardwalk
