Always seeking inspiration from the companies I visit. I am surrounded by creative individuals and the incredible spaces they’ve created and give thanks for that any time I can. I am incredibly thankful to be on this journey with each and every one of you and am so excited to share the final outcome!
This is a new business I was introduced to by my friend Duke in Boston. If you’re in the area, I HIGHLY recommend checking out -everything from the building, to the bar down to the sustainably source seaweed straws: I’m in LOVE!

Picking out kitchen designs can be so tough! Balancing budget, design, working out details of Feng shui and functionality. This week we are looking into tile and appliances. Find something that inspires you and run towards it!

We are starting demolition on the airbnb apartment above the cafe next week!

We already pulled up some carpet and found original wood floors 🙌🏽 if we can salvage them I’m thinking about doing a white wash look on the refinished wood. Thoughts?

I love the way it brightens a room and still shows the wood grain through the finish. We will also be working with old original floors and this may help mask the imperfections. There is a chance that we will also need to use a different type of wood for the staircase and this look may make the transition cohesive.

I’m excited to the finished product!

Just made an order for the cafe! Hand painted custom hats are on their way to Athena’s!

Demo starts next week, time to begin ordering fixtures and customizing the space. We will be posting updates throughout the project. Thank you for the support!

Good news everyone! We just made a deal with Western Montana Fur Company to have a pop-up shop at our event! -20 degrees? No problem!

We will have a staging area to try on the coats/ hats/ accessories and you’re welcome (and encouraged) to take a picture and post!
