Jazz Cabaret Pittsburgh

Jazz Cabaret Pittsburgh a setting for a quiet interlude where one can hear music for jazz lovers and all music lovers

CANCELLED – Jazz Cabaret at Conley Resort – May 20, 2020

Good afternoon, Jazz Cabaret friends and fans,

As we were planning our May 20, 2020 Cabaret, I thought of the foresight we had with our 20/20 vision. An evening of great music surrounded by fellow friends and jazz fans – who knew?

Unfortunately, dear music lovers, a greater pursuit has come into play – staying well and maintaining our good health!

Due to this perilous pandemic, we must cancel the May 20 soiree. This is only a temporary hiatus. We have a grand August evening scheduled with the crowd favorite, Donna Bailey and her ensemble. A masterful November show is in the works which should pleasantly surprise and entertain you.

Thank you for your continuing support and we look forward to being with you at the next Jazz Cabaret. Till then, stay well and remember the words of Tony Mowod – “Keep a bit of love in your heart, and a taste of jazz in your soul”.

Take care,
Brooks and Helen Bartlett

Good afternoon Jazz Cabaret friends,

This note is to alert you to a change in our winter jazz schedule. I recently had knee surgery and find recovery is taking longer than expected. We will resume our Jazz Cabaret in May with the return of Dane Vannatter to our stage on May 20, 2020.

A complete up-date and announcement will follow soon.

Looking forward to seeing you all in May.

Sincerely,
Brooks and Helen Bartlett

Jazz... as it should be!

This is a retro presentation of the jazz cabaret genre – a place where one can sit back, relax, and listen to music from the “Great American Songbook” – a setting for a quiet interlude where one can go and hear songs that have a melody and lyrics that you can hear and understand – music for jazz lovers and all music lovers. We have arranged for the very best regional cabaret singers and musical artists to entertain.

Our motivation is altruistic. We are promoting good jazz and the mission of St. Barnabas. St. Barnabas is a non-profit health system providing skilled nursing care and assisted living facilities as well as a variety of independent living settings. Any monies accrued from our cabaret will go to the St. Barnabas ‘Free Care Fund’.

There will be a cash bar with adult beverages and soft drinks. Savory appetizers will be provided as well as free parking.

Our plan is to present this on a quarterly basis.
