Our Story
Burlington Bent River Brewery was established by a group of Burlington investors who wanted to create a vibrant go-to venue on Jefferson St in Burlington’s historic downtown. In the summer of 2013 the 500 block of Jefferson looked like a ghost town and the old JC Penney’s building had been empty for 40 years but looking at the building they envisioned a vibrant go-to public space where people could gather and enjoy locally brewed beer along with great food!
It was not an easy task. The interior renovations took over two years to complete and they searched and finally found Bent River Brewery a brewery that they could partner with to help supply and brew on site.
The result... check it out! A warm inviting venue with some of the best craft beer you will ever try and a menu that is sure to please!
