🔧 HE BUILT BAR STOOLS. WE MAY NEVER HEAR THE END OF IT. 🔧
Dave spent the week putting together our new bar stools, so naturally he’s taking today to recover from single-handedly carrying the American furniture industry. 😂
Some assembly required. An unreasonable amount of recognition apparently also required.
Today he’s officially boycotting manual labor, enjoying a nice lunch with his mom, and harassing the general public. Because he may put down the tools, but he will NEVER take a day off from being a pain in the ass. ❤️
His poor mom spent all those years raising him, and now she has to sit through lunch hearing about how hard he worked. Shirley, we appreciate your service. We have him for a few hours at a time. You’ve been doing this for decades. 🏆
Meanwhile, back at Countryside, we’ve got Thursday dinner handled:

Come hungry, grab a seat, and admire Dave’s craftsmanship. And by craftsmanship, we mean he followed the instructions printed in the box and would now like to be treated like he built the entire bar with a pocketknife.
Please don’t ask if there were any leftover screws. We’re choosing to focus on the positives.
The stools are new. The food’s delicious. The owner still doesn’t come with a mute button.
