To Our BTX Brewfest Family,
After a lot of difficult conversations and careful consideration, we’ve made the decision to pause BTX Brewfest for 2026.
This was not an easy decision for us to make.
Over the last several years, the economic climate, the impact and closures of local breweries, rising costs across the board, and the growing challenges independent event organizers are facing have all played a role in this decision. Like many small, independently run events, we’ve felt the weight of those challenges behind the scenes more than ever before.
BTX Brewfest has never been backed by large corporations or investors. It has always been built through community support, partnerships, long nights, hard work, and a genuine love for bringing people together.
As difficult as this decision is, we believe it’s the right one.
Rather than continuing forward without being able to give this festival everything it deserves, we’ve chosen to take a step back, regroup, and focus on building a stronger future for BTX Brewfest. We also heard the feedback from last year loud and clear. Some of it was difficult to hear, but we listened. We know there are changes that need to be made, and we truly believe taking this time to reevaluate and improve will allow us to create a better festival experience for everyone involved.
Our goal is to return in 2027 with fresh energy, new ideas, and a renewed focus on what made BTX Brewfest special in the first place: community, connection, great music, great beer, and creating an experience people genuinely love being part of.
In the meantime, we encourage you to continue supporting local breweries, restaurants, musicians, festivals, and small businesses whenever you can. Independent events and local businesses survive because of community support, and that support matters more than people realize.
To every sponsor, brewery, vendor, musician, volunteer, attendee, and supporter who has been part of BTX Brewfest over the years — thank you. Thank you for believing in us, showing up for us, and helping us build something we’ve been incredibly proud of.
This is not goodbye. It’s simply a pause while we work toward making the next chapter even better.
