After a lot of thought and consideration, we’ve decided it’s time for a new chapter.

With our kids getting older and life getting busier, something had to give—and as hard as it is, we’ve made the decision to offer The H&E Bar business for sale.

This place means a lot to us, and even more to this community. The H&E has been a part of Burdett for generations—a spot for friends, stories, laughter, and good times. We would truly love to see someone take it over who’s passionate about continuing that tradition and keeping it a staple in the village.

We also want everyone to know that we will continue operating as we always have while we search for the right person to take it over—so nothing is changing in the meantime. Come in, grab a drink, and enjoy it just like always 🍻

If you’ve ever dreamed of owning a bar, being part of a tight-knit community, and carrying on something special, this could be your opportunity. Lots of potential!
