Opened in 1985, by Dwane and Denise Hall, Sportsmen’s has slowly transformed itself from a neighborhood tavern to one of the best live music venues in the county. In 2008, Sportsmen’s started its “Private Party Series,” which has allowed them to bring some of the best touring national acts from all across America to the WNY region. In that time Asleep At The Wheel, Junior Brown, Dave Alvin, Bill Kirchen, Wanda Jackson, and Poco, just to name a few, have all performed on the Sportsmen’s stage to sold out audiences. And, with well over 40 shows a month, there is no sign that we are slowing down.
