From Our ER:
Thank you everyone that willingly has
volunteered much of their time to the
functions of the Lodge. We had a lot of
participation with the placement of the flags
along with the preparation and marching in
the Ken-Ton Parade for Memorial Day
Weekend.
Looking ahead we will kick off our
Summer Patio Series with "Rockin Robin"
June 12. at 6 pm. There will be a $5 cover
charge and food off the grill will be available
at a nominal cost. Also, that weekend will be
our annual Flag Day Ceremony June 14 at
12 noon. We will look forward to you joining
us that weekend.
We are still looking for ways of creating
an Elks friendly atmosphere where people
are welcome either by visiting us or
perhaps joining the Elks. We really hope
you can be a part of our Lodge. Since
becoming ER, many people have been
offering their ideas for adding things to our
objectives of operating under the "BPOE". I
strongly encourage everyone to offer their
ideas to us because your voice and ideas
are valuable to us. We have much work
and challenges ahead but I strongly feel
that if we work together as one team, we
will meet those challenges and become
stronger.
