Unfortunately we have had to make a big decision regarding Sato Brewpub, our downtown location. Sato Brewpub will be open for another 2 weeks and then we will be closing this location on May 7th. SATO on Elmwood and Sato Ramen on Main St. will remain open as is.

Being a small family-owned business in these current conditions we believe this is the move we need to make in order to continue to be able to bring our Japanese food and drinks to Buffalo.

We truly appreciate all of the staff who have helped us over the years. Together we brought a new experience to the area, authentic Japanese food, and unique craft beers.

We are very thankful for all of our loyal customers downtown and we hope that we can continue to see you at one of our other locations.

Thank you to everyone who shared the downtown experience with us over the years.

Today was a special day.

Today, we brewed a Belgian Tripel designed by , a brewery in downtown Kiev.

In support of the millions of refugees who have fled their homes, as soon as this beer is on draft, we will be donating $2 of every pint sold to the Ukrainian American Freedom Foundation.

We're dropping 3 awesome stouts in cans (and one on draught) ONLY at the brewery this Friday (2/4)!

Kyoto Style - Dry Stout with Tipico Coffee House Roast
We teamed up with our friends on Elmwood to put together a stout that showcases the wonderful caramel and roasty, chocolatey notes of their house roast in an easy-drinking body.

Hana wa sakuragi - Belgian Imperial Stout
Our big, bold imperial stout is now in cans! This is a rich milk chocolate sipper with none of the milk!

Hana wa sakuragi with Cherries and Cacao Nibs
The same base as above, just amped up with smooth sweet cherries and just a touch of bitter house-roasted cacao nibs.
