So…after much consideration and deliberation, we have decided to do the 2021 Champions League Final at Mes Que as a “Vaccinated Only” event. What that means is that during this year’s Champions League Final, everyone in the building that day (from 1:00-6:00 …both staff and customers) will be vaccinated. That means…
NO Masks
NO Social Distancing Requirements
NO Capacity Restrictions
In other words…it will feel exactly like a 2012-2018 version of a Mes Que Champions League final!
To achieve this, we will be checking “ID” at the door. However in this case, we will be checking not only proof of age, but proof of vaccination as well. In order to gain admittance to this event, you will need to prove that you have been fully vaccinated (i.e. 2 weeks out from your last shot.)
There are two different ways you will be able to show proof. One way, will be to show the hard copy vaccination card you received when you got your vaccination. That card will document that you have received and are two weeks out from your second shot (for Moderna or Pfizer vaccines) or two weeks out from your one Johnson and Johnson shot.
The second alternative method of vaccination proof, is by using the NY State Excelsior Pass. Excelsior Pass is an app you can download on your phone, which will allow you to show proof you’ve been vaccinated. It’s super easy to use, and we’ll include a link below. If you use Excelsior Pass, just show us your electronic “vaccination card” with the QR code…we’ll scan the QR code from your phone, and voila…you’re good to go! Please note that in all cases, we will also require photo ID in addition to proof of vaccination.
