Thank you to everyone that helped and attended the benefit this afternoon. We had a great time seeing everyone. Hopefully it’s successful and we can get back to work. Thank you to Eddy and his crew along with Robin. And to all who helped throughout. Pics and videos will be posted tomorrow.

Monday we celebrated our final Dyngus Day and our final day! We can’t thank everyone enough for all for the wonderful memories and friendships formed over the last 38 years. It’s a great run. We had such a bitter sweet day Monday celebrating with everyone. Thanks to everyone that came out to celebrate with us. Here are some highlights of the day.

To the customer that STOLE the Winston calendar off the wall can you please bring it back? It belonged to a long time customer that wanted it back. It was a family heirloom. Please bring it back no questions asked!

Come on down and have a drink with Tom today. Reminder that Monday is the last day the Happy Swallow will be open. Wayne and Tom are tending bar and reminiscing today.

Last call coming Monday, April 21st. After Dyngus day we will be closing fully. Tom will be retiring. the bar will be closing. The restaurant portion is already shut down. This was a very difficult decision for Tom to make but he just cannot do it anymore. He wants to enjoy life. Him and Dan did a great job keep the local tavern alive. We know our Dan is looking down proud of his son Tom for keeping things going. Now it’s time for Tom to rest. Hope everyone comes to celebrate with one last drink on Dyngus Day!

***ATTENTION CUSTOMERS****

Unfortunately due to some unforeseen circumstances we will no longer be serving food. Our Tom has decided to semi retire. We apologize to everyone especially during this Lenten season. The bar will remain open. Thank you to each and everyone of our customers for the wonderful support we have received over the last 38 years. We hope everyone has a wonderful Easter season!

ATTENTION CUSTOMERS!! As we have the last few years we will not be taking any takeout orders. It gets too hard filling dine in and takeout orders. We will resume takeouts the Friday after Easter. Thank you for your understanding.
