Another AWESOME night at the Barrel Society learning about and tasting Texas bourbon with Charlie Garrison of Garrison Brothers Distillery. We sampled 6 different bourbons and got to listen to some really interesting stories about the history of Garrison Brothers Bourbon.

My Grandpa Joe was the last horse-drawn milkman in Clinton, IA. The picture of him on his milk wagon along with the old wooden pull toy milk wagon produced IN Clinton, IA are a couple of my prized possessions! When I got the opportunity to get a bottle of bourbon called “Milkman” how could I resist?!?!

Definitely a cool place! Make sure you go check out Thornton Distilling Co. and be sure to tell Andrew “Hi!”

Travelling for work and HAD to stop by and check out The Wild Grape W**e Company! WOW…just WOW!!! Check out the videos that they post and follow their page. And if you get a chance to visit in person…you DAMN well better make it happen.
Grabbed 3 bottles while I was there and I am already scheming on how soon I can return.🤔

Apparently not everyone is fan of old BBQ pit and old tire burnt rubber in a glass!!! LOL, it is a very polarizing pour to say the least.

On the road for my “real job”, of course I had to pack my Aged & Ore with a couple of options-Hlubek’s Bohemian Bourbon Bar “Remote” all set up and ready for the Brewers vs Padres game!
Barrel Society—-couldn’t be there for today’s Still Austin drop so I at least brought my Still Austin “Bear Claw” on the road so I can be with y’all “in spirit”😎
