I am responding to a post from kathy Lewis Edge. You said you have been to Toucans and this has never happened. It should never happen and I assure you it wasn't a racial thing. It was a screw up on our part. The server you were supposed to have had two big parties which is not supposed to happen. The second big party should have been given to another server. She wasn't informed that she was sat again and couldn't get to you. Thats on me and my management team.My manager tried to reach out but your post will not let us respond on your post. We need to know where you sat in the restaurant so we know who was not doing their job. Once I read that you have been to Toucans many times and never had a problem why the first times we make a mistake you didn't ask for a manager to address the problem. Instead you blasted us on social media. Did you blast us on social media when things were good? Again we screwed up so if you let me know where you were sitting so I can take action then next time you family comes in I will make sure your service is great. It should always be great. We definitely are not racist. For someone to even think that is ridiculous. We aren't perfect as you unfortunately found out but believe me I'm not in business to give bad service. I want everyone to leave happy. Have a blessed day and let me know please. By the way the manager is married to a person of color and three of our servers that day were also. We shouldn't see colors we should see good people and bad people. Just my opinion!!

Happy to report things are moving along... excited to get back open in a few short weeks. We are shooting for August 15th (this date depends on contractors and inspections of course) It has been a long 8 weeks and we are all eager to get back to serving you and hanging out with all our favorite people. We have taken this opportunity to do some updates that we had scheduled for later this year but figured since we're closed we might as well do them since it didn't affect the open date.

I am making job postings on Indeed, we have sadly lost several employees through this, which we knew was a possibility. Please check out indeed to apply and submit your application that way.
