We heard Camp Cheryl alumni are all booking a room at Motel 87.

Saturday June 13th, the after-party for Brunswick Pride is happening at 87 Maine Street. Formerly this cute little cocktail bar called The Abbey...???

Come for a good time, not a long time. We'll leave the pink lights on for you.

(7pm - late. it's not really a motel. it's just a theme. have some whimsy and commit to the bit. stay tuned.)

This Saturday, Maine Wild Wine Fest continues into the evening at The Abbey, with a wine pairing takeover from Roberto Henríquez!
The Roberto Henríquez Winery was founded in 2015 and has grown from a 400-bottle production to an internationally renowned winery. The wines we are pairing this Saturday night, Rivera del Notro (Tinto and Blanco), Santa Cruz de Coya, and Molino del Ciego, are some of the finest wines in Roberto's portfolio.
Roberto is recognized as the best and most innovative winemaker in Chile, farming all the vineyards without the use of herbicides or pesticides, and adhering to organic and sustainable principles. He is passionate about preserving the region’s ancient vines, as well as its traditional pipeño methods. That means employing natural winemaking techniques, using native yeasts, aging in old Rauli wood barrels, and bottling without filtration or chemicals—all by hand.
His wines appear on the list of “the 25 must-try” in Punch magazine, while others have remarkably high scores in The Wine Advocate of the USA. In 2020 Molino del Ciego was named one of “the top 30 orange wines in the world.”
We have some incredible special food pairings with the four selected wines, and Roberto will be here in the flesh from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. to chat with you all about all the things that make his wines so dang special!

It may seem like we always close on April 20th for some reason or another and you might be on to us, but we swear there’s another, very valid, very professional reason for why we close on 4/20, seriously. For real. You have to believe us.🫣We’ll be closing up at 2pm today, not because it’s 4/20 but because 4/20 is the date of our last trade show of the season and we’re towing along some of our staff to get the full experience! And who goes out for drinks on 4/20 anyways… we’ll be back on Wednesday open from 8am-10pm!!!
