We offer a variety of specialty toppings, including house-made mayonnaise, olive tapenade, pickled jalapeños, caramelized onions, and chow chow. We also serve a fresh soup of the day and a weekly made-from-scratch dessert created by Tiffany, featuring options like Sunny Day Lemon Bread or Mood-Lifter Chocolate Cake (both are a must-try). 🏜️ THE NAZCA LINES: ANCIENT MYSTERIES IN THE DESERT
Thursday, September 17 | 6:30 PM

Who created these enormous designs in the desert? How did they do it, and what were they trying to tell us?

Astronomy? Ancient rituals? And where did those alien theories come from? 👽

Let’s have a little fun and explore the evidence, question the theories, and see where the conversation takes us.

Come with questions, bring a friend, or simply pull up a chair and listen. No expertise needed — just curiosity and a willingness to enjoy a respectful conversation with good company.

🍷 Grab supper and your favorite drink, settle in, and spend your Thursday evening wondering a little bigger.

FREE community conversation. All welcome.

FULL MENU AVAILABLE BEFORE AND AFTER DISCUSSION.

🌿 COMING HOME TO YOUR BODY
A Trauma-Informed Somatic Wellness Group for Women
First gathering - Free- No registration needed
Saturday, September 19 | 3:00 PM
Grassroots Lounge | Brownwood, Texas

Have you ever felt like your mind knows you're ready to move forward, but your body still feels stuck?

Maybe you carry tension in your shoulders. A tightness in your chest. A restless mind. Emotional exhaustion. Or simply a sense that you've become disconnected from yourself.

What if, instead of fighting against your body, you learned to listen to it?

Join Melanie Childress at Grassroots Lounge for Coming Home to Your Body—a gentle, trauma-informed, educational, and wellness-focused experience created specifically for women.

This is a space to slow down, breathe, become curious about what your body is communicating, and reconnect with yourself.

🌱 WHAT WE'LL EXPLORE

Together, we'll explore:
• Understanding trauma and the nervous system
• Fight, flight, freeze and fawn responses
• The Window of Tolerance
• How stress can show up in the body
• Gentle somatic movement and body awareness
• Grounding and nervous-system regulation techniques
• Breathwork and mindful awareness
• Releasing physical tension through safe, gentle movement
• Reconnecting with your body instead of fighting against it
• Self-compassion and learning to listen to your body's signals
• Simple practices you can take home with you

🤍 YOU DON'T HAVE TO TELL YOUR STORY.

You don't have to explain your pain.
You don't have to share anything you're not comfortable sharing.
And you don't have to force yourself to participate in an exercise that doesn't feel right for you.

Every practice is invitational. You remain in control of your participation.
This is about creating space for choice, safety, connection and compassion.

You simply get to come as you are.
Move at your own pace.
Listen inward.
Breathe.
Notice.
Reconnect.
Come home to yourself. 🌿
