Grassroots Men's Group

Grassroots Lounge, Brownwood, Texas
Wednesday, June 24 at 6:15 pm
Free
Full menu will be available
Ages: 16 - 100+

Men, let's be real: life today throws a lot at us. The world's louder, more confusing, and more demanding than ever—work, family, culture, endless noise telling you what a man "should" be.

That's why I started the Grassroots Men's Group, and I invite you to be part of it: a straightforward, no-judgement space right here in Brownwood for men to show up as they are, talk straight, wrestle with big questions, and walk away sharper, steadier, and more equipped.

No fluff, no forced sharing, no judgment—just honest discussion among guys who want to build real strength in a shifting world.

Whether you're deep in faith, questioning it, or somewhere in between—believer, skeptic, or none of the above—this is open to any man ready to think harder about manhood, meaning, and how to stand firm in an unstable world.

We'll dive into timeless principles of strength and character, challenge the lies that equate real masculinity with aggression or sensitivity with weakness, and explore the role of God in navigating it all.

Our format keeps it practical and grounded: video clips to spark thought, then open conversation—what hits home, what you push back on, and most importantly, how to actually apply it.

No prior commitment. No experience needed. Just come as you are—with your questions, your doubts, your wins—and let's build something solid.

Details:
• Date & Time: Wednesday, June 24, starting at 6:15 PM (one-hour session—sharp and to the point)
• Location: Grassroots Lounge, 1906 HWY 377 S, Brownwood, TX (cozy spot next to Dollar General—park anywhere around the building)

Future topics on deck (we'll shape it as we go):
• Keys to a fulfilling life
• Wrestling with God
• Enduring life’s darkest moments
• Tim Tebow on Masculinity
• The Pursuit of Meaning
• When does masculinity become toxic?
• Chaos and Order

Come ready to listen, speak your mind, or just sit and absorb.

Join us for Truth Seekers Thursday on June 11 at 6:30 PM

Each Thursday is a new topic at Grassroots Lounge. This week's topic is "Measuring Achievement: The Fluid Nature of Success."

What does it mean to "make it"? How has your definition of success changed over the years — and why? From historical shifts in how societies measured achievement to the personal seasons of life that reshape our goals, this engaging one-hour talk explores the currencies of success: financial security, family, mental peace, spiritual depth, contentment, and legacy.

Success is not a fixed destination but a river that flows and adapts with age, circumstances, and growth.

Discover why embracing its fluid nature can lead to a more meaningful life.

Full menu available before and after the discussion — come early, enjoy a meal or drink, and stay late for great conversation.

Date & Time: Thursday, June 11, 2025 at 6:30 PM
