TRINITY

Every great Louisiana meal starts the same way. Onion. Celery. Bell pepper. The Cajun holy trinity, the foundation of gumbo, jambalaya, étouffée, and just about everything else cooked in this state. It's not something you question or mess with. It's something you build on.

So when we got together with our friends at again, we asked ourselves what our holy trinity would look like. This time, not veggies, but hops. And no, we did not use actual onions. No tears were shed in the making of this beer.

Y’all meet Trinity. Built on Dolcita, Nectaron, and Citra: three standout hops that each bring something unique to the table and, when combined, are nothing short of heavenly. Bright tropical fruit, juicy citrus, ripe stone fruit, and vibrant aromatics are all layered together into something bold, expressive, and unmistakably fresh at 8% ABV.

Maybe not in dollars. But rich in sunsets over sugarcane fields. Rich in ice chests full of beer. Rich in backyard boils, loud laughter, and friends who show up when it matters. Around Louisiana, that's the kind of wealth that counts.

Built on the same plush, hazy 8% ABV Double IPA base as the original, Vermillionaire II cranks things up with Nectaron and Citra hops, Nectaron terpenes, and a splash of Skyfarm Pineapple terpenes.

What started as our first terpene experiment has evolved into something juicier, louder, and even more expressive than OG Vermillionaire. Expect waves of pineapple, passion fruit, peach, and bright citrus wrapped in a soft, pillowy body.

DDH Braincake presale pick-up starts at 11am in the Taproom. Have your order confirmation ready! There will be a limited amount of release beer available for day-of purchase on a first-come, first-served basis. Both presale pick-up and day-of sales end at 8pm.

UPS Direct Shipping begins next week.

DDH Braincake: $23 per 16oz 4pack cans.

The Taproom will be open from 11am - 8pm for pours, beer to-go, and merchandise.

Important: Beer not picked up within one week of release will be canceled. All canceled online orders incur an 8% restocking fee.
