The Instructor as Students

Every instructor reaches a point where experience becomes deep—and learning can become optional. Or so it seems.
In reality, the most impactful teachers continue to study: their own game, their communication, their students’ responses, and even unfamiliar approaches. Not because they lack knowledge, but because growth sharpens perspective.
When instructors model curiosity, students feel permission to struggle, ask questions, and improve without fear. Lifelong learning isn’t just a philosophy—it’s a teaching tool.
No matter how long we’ve taught or how much we’ve achieved, there is always another layer of understanding available.
Reflection for the week:
What skill—physical, mental, or instructional—are you currently working to improve?
Invitation:
Reply with what you’re learning right now. Your honesty may encourage others to stay curious.
With respect and appreciation,
