We know the construction on Prairie Street has caused some confusion, and we’ve heard from people who believe they can’t get to the businesses downtown. That simply isn’t the case!

Jackson Street Pub and our neighboring local businesses are OPEN, and you can still get to us. ❤️

Here’s what you need to know:

➡️ E. 3rd Street is OPEN all the way west to the intersection of Prairie Street.
🚗 Street parking is still available along E. 3rd Street.
🅿️ Casey’s parking lot is accessible from E. 3rd Street.
🅿️ The Indiana Pizza Company parking lot is also accessible from E. 3rd Street.
⬆️ Need to get back to Prairie Street heading north? Follow the route on the map: E. 3rd → S. Railroad → W. 2nd → Prairie Street.

The construction may make getting around town look a little different, but YOU CAN STILL GET HERE!

And right now, that matters more than ever.

Road construction is tough on small-town businesses. When traffic patterns change and people assume an area is inaccessible, our local restaurants and businesses feel it immediately. These are the places that employ your neighbors, support community events, donate to local causes, and help make Brookston what it is.

So please, don’t let a few orange cones keep you away. ❤️
