Today we say goodbye to our dear friend Peter Bushey who passed away after a long bout with cancer.

Pete has been a part of the Hideout family since Day One. Hilarious, generous, intelligent, witty, open-minded, kind, a doting husband - Pete was beloved by staff and customers alike. He was the best unofficial jukebox DJ & always played a key role in all the wholesome bar activities. Pete, we will miss you on every Derby day, every arts & crafts project, every time we play the Sunday jukebox game -- every single day. Your corner seat will always be yours.

On behalf of the entire Hideout family, Rest in Peace Pete. We love you. ❤️

We received news that our good friend Hugh McKenna has passed. For anyone lucky enough to be insulted (with love) by this mischievous scotsman, you know how much he will be missed. Rest in peace Hugh 💔

Services will be held at McLaughlin Funeral Home (9620 3rd Ave) on Friday July 15 from 2-6pm.
