Went out to a networking event with comedy colleagues and it was LIT! Thank you Comedy Team….and on Bowery! That’s Sheri Baby!

Black Girl Vitamins came in here with a bag so big it was honestly disrespectful. Bigger than our swag bag. Bigger than some carry-ons. Bigger than my trust issues.

And the women started testifying immediately.

Talking about: “My menopause stopped.” “My comedy cough got better.” “My spirit sat up straight.” “My edges forgave me.”

Was any of that medically confirmed?

Baby, that is not my department.

What I do know is pulled up to the Black Women in Comedy Laff Fest with a big rude bag and the girls started singing like somebody had passed out miracles and matching robes.

That’s BWIC.

Thank you for sponsoring the festival and apparently also running a revival.

And just like that… this was the last picture of the night. 👑

Not the last laugh.
Not the last win.
Not the last time y’all gonna hear from us.

Just the last picture before everybody went home, took their lashes off, ate somebody’s leftover fries, and started replaying the whole night in the group chat.

Huge love to our closing headliner, — because baby, when it was time to shut it down, she did not come to whisper. She came to close the tab, lock the door, and leave the building leaning.

Shout out to every single comic, every producer, every supporter, every voter, every person who pulled up, showed love, bought tickets, clapped loud, screamed, tagged, reposted, and acted like they had good home training.

And to everybody who voted?
You did what needed to be done.
Real civic duty. Real community service. Real “I know funny when I see it” behavior.

Now let’s be clear: this may be the last picture of the night, but it is absolutely not the end of the noise.

We got some things cooking over the next few weeks that are about to remind folks exactly why we are funny, why we wear the crown, and why this is not some cute little moment we made in the corner.

This is a movement with punchlines.

So go ahead and catch your breath.
Then keep your notifications on.

Because we’re not done.
We’re about to turn this all the way up.

Stay tuned. Stay ready. Stay laughing.

She said what we needed to hear.
And we were already living it.
Every comedian who hits that stage chose herself. Chose her voice. Chose to be loud and free and funny and unforgettable.

More than just comedy, we're crafting legacy.

Thank you for sponsoring spaces where Black women get to choose what their lives look and sound like. On our terms.
