Two days after announced , this reel from landed on my feed and I was kind of blown away💥⚡️

She’s talking about the exact themes we explore in The Disco Nativity: how “Death to Disco” tried to bury a genre, a movement, and a people, but the music kept living abroad (and here) 🪩🖤 And make sure you watch that entire reel because Ultra Naté’s giving you the math🤘🏾

DJ Monday Blue and Scott weave the tunes and story behind the history of Black music, the birth and death of disco, and the fate of Black music’s future. Will the ghosts of Black music’s past, present, and future be able to secure their place in the history books?
