Dear Red Hook Art Project Family,

What an amazing first week back! OMG! what a way to kick off our fall art semester. The studio was buzzing with energy, laughter, and creativity. Our students came in full of excitement designing pumpkins and leaves, decorating their sketchbooks, heading to the park, getting homework help, enjoying snacks, and most importantly, just being together in community.

It’s truly inspiring to see our young artists return with such passion and joy, ready to create and grow. The spirit in the studio reminds us why we do this work because when our students walk through the door, they bring the magic.

We’re so looking forward to closing out the year with a big bang and an even bigger end-of-year holiday party filled with art, celebration, and community love. There’s so much creativity happening here at Red Hook Art Project, and we can’t wait to share it with all of you.

11:32 PM Society of the Silver Cross "The Crown" 4:23 from The Crown 2024 on WorldSound: I was lucky enough to catch their show in KC while I was visiting for work. It seriously was one of the best shows that I've ever seen!

11:48 PM Litania "Manasi Devi" 5:46 from Manasi Devi 2025 on Subsound Records - HEAVY PSYCH SOUNDS: Consisting of members from both Italy and Serbia, they bring a very unique and awesome sound that can only be described as Indian Doom.
