Don(ald) "Buzz" Brady Celebration of Life (Tues., July 14th 6pm-?)
it's with the heaviest of hearts that we sadly need to announce the passing of long-time friend of Jim's and its patrons (and a former employee as well) and Brookings' most beloved joke crackin', horn tootin', garden growin', hard peddlin', 'skrat skinnin', wood splittin', jingle writin', channel surfin ' local celebrity: Don(ald) "Buzz" Brady.
A formal "Celebration of Life" is planned for him this coming Tuesday (July 14th) at Rude's Funeral Home from 2-4pm (more info on that can be found below in the comments). A more informal "Memorial/Celebration of Life" will occur a couple hrs later at Jim's (6pm-?). This event will likely last several hrs or more, so do stop in when you have some time that evening and meet his family and share your stories of him with them (and everyone else đŸ˜„!).
