There’s something new happening at Single Barrel Social.

Each week, Chef Davis Herr-Williams is creating a collection of limited dishes built around ingredients, technique and flavors that give you something new to discover in downtown Brighton.

Order the dish that catches your eye — or experience all four as our Chef’s Tasting Menu.

This week:

HAMACHI
Lightly torched hamachi, coconut aguachile, pickled watermelon radish, Asian pear salsa & micro greens.

SHRIMP CAVATELLI
Blackened shrimp, cavatelli pasta, seafood stock, shrimp butter, pecorino, caviar & herb oil.

BRAISED OX TAILS
Red wine braised ox tails, parsnip purée, fried parsnips & chives.

BREAD PUDDING TERRINE
Caramel & vanilla ice cream.

The Chef’s Tasting Menu gives our guests a chance to explore a little further, taste something unexpected and experience what our kitchen is creating right now.

They placed the most magnificent Bread Pudding Terrine served with caramel vanilla ice cream in front of me, but before I knew it…. Ooops.

The storms came through Brighton, and many of our friends and neighbors are without power. Currently, Single Barrel Social will still open at 4pm with power and full service.

Stop in before or after today's 1st homegame of the season.
Happy Hour runs 4:00pm-5:30pm and our full menu is always available.

Where do you find your favorite local flavors?

Colors are changing, the sun is rising and setting to a new schedule, and the flavors of Michigan are coming to life in a whole new way. Whether you are a farm to table family, a farmer, a beekeeper, a farmers market lover or just someone who loves tasting all the homegrown goodness our local producers have to offer: this question is for you?

Single Barrel Social wants to know who your local favorites are. As we craft our upcoming seasonal menus, locally grown and sourced ingredients are important to us. We'd love to meet some local producers and see how we can showcase your flavors on our plates.

As the seasons shift, so does our menu—and Swordfish has officially made its return to Single Barrel Social.

8oz blackened swordfish with fingerling potatoes, poblano & bell peppers, pickled red onion and chimichurri.

Fresh. Bright. A little smoky. Exactly the kind of plate that hits when summer starts giving way to fall.

Ask us about last night… once again, we crushed it. With a full bourbon bar, well crafted dishes and a room filled of food lovers- last night was incredible. Thank you to everyone who comes out to support creative culinary gatherings. It’s takes a special community to embrace flavor and flair the way that Brighton, MI does.
