There is something heavy, deeply reflective, and ultimately peaceful about sitting in an empty room you built with your own hands, holding one last cold beer.
Looking back at day one, I didn’t know a fraction of what it actually took to build a business from the ground up. I had no master blueprint, no manual for the late nights, the hurdles, or the endless decisions that fall entirely on your shoulders. I just had a vision and the willingness to figure it out as I went.
And figure it out, I did.
Along the way, I’ve met some truly great people, celebrated amazing accomplishments, and helped bring a whole community together under one roof. Building this place proved to me what I’m capable of, and I’m leaving with skills, grit, and wisdom that no one can ever take away.
But behind every success was a cost. It was hard, and over time, it took far too much of my mental peace. It forced me to compromise and stray away from my religion and my morals in ways I couldn't ignore anymore. At the end of the day, all the money in the world is not worth losing your spirit, your values, or your peace of mind.
So, I chose to close my chapter here and pass the torch. The business has been sold to an amazing couple in business who will be transforming the space into a Latin nightclub. They bring great energy and a fresh vision, and I truly wish them the absolute best of success as they build their own dream here.
As for me, I’m stepping back to get closer to nature, where real peace is found, and where I can reconnect with what matters most.
Sitting here now in the quiet, listening to the echo of a room that used to be full of noise and people, I feel pride for what was built, gratitude for everyone who supported it, and complete peace with letting it go.
Here’s to the lessons learned, the community created, and the quiet beauty of the next chapter. Cheers.
