Penelope has a couple of announcements to help you navigate the next few days at The Crown.

Join us tonight for Chef’s specials (we have 3!):

* soy orange glazed duck confit, crispy potatoes, broccoli
* house-made pasta: ratatouille lasagna with squash, zucchini, mozzarella, parmesan, ricotta, basil oil and aleppo
* Brasstown beef dry aged Kansas City steak with chimichurri, frites, and roasted cauliflower

Carolyn and Janna will have your $8 sangria, select 1/2 priced bottles of wine, and other tasty drinks!

Please note that we’ll be CLOSED for a private event tomorrow, Sunday, 6/7. That means NO BRUNCH this week. Save up your brunch appetite for next week!

On Monday we have our usual $7 margaritas and Chef’s special: arancini stuffed with mushroom and mozzarella, mixed greens, marinara, and crispy prosciutto (so, so yummy!)

Tucked back in the hills of Appalachia, Thursday nights at The Crown have become a gathering place for musicians, artists, neighbors, and travelers alike. As the sun dips behind the mountains and dinner plates are cleared, the sound of bluegrass melodies begins to drift through the air.

Each week, musicians from the neighboring John C. Campbell Folk School pull up a chair around the fire, instruments in hand, welcoming anyone who wants to join the circle. Fiddles, guitars, and mandolins blend together while guests settle in with a drink, soaking in the kind of evening that feels harder and harder to find.

It's Monday and you know what that means: playing your favorite tunes, $7 margaritas, and a tasty chef special for the day!

Come out and try our arancini special: crispy balls of rice stuffed with mozzarella and mushroom served with crispy prosciutto and marinara. We had them on Thursday and they were a huge hit.

Chef will also have a Brasstown Beef steak special in addition to our full menu.

The weather looks beautiful, which will make for the perfect evening to get out of the house for a relaxing dinner and enjoy the music and the view.

Trying to decide what to do for Memorial Day tomorrow?? Have no fear, we’ve got you covered! We’ll be open for our usual hours of 4:30pm - 9pm and we look forward to serving you.

Chef has a tasty special of Jerk Chicken with pineapple slaw, yucca frites, and garlic aioli, and, in addition to Monday $7 margaritas, Carolyn will be pouring $6 old fashioneds.

To top it all off, our favorite Monday night musician, monkunderwood, will be playing your favorite tunes!

Strawberry season at The Crown 🍓

From the first sip to dessert, this season’s features are all about fresh, bright flavors made for slow evenings in the mountains.

The new Ichigo Summer cocktail blends strawberry-infused sake, fresh lemon, simple syrup, and muddled strawberries for a refreshing sip that tastes like summer in a glass.

Our Seasonal Salad features fresh greens, seasonal ingredients, and a housemade strawberry vinaigrette.

And for dessert, strawberry shortcake. 🍰
