📢 Important Update
As many of you know, I’m a tad OCD (lol) … and this stretch of unknowns has been rough. Still, I believe everything unfolds the way it’s meant to — and I’m trusting that will be true for The Stand….the restaurant and music venue that also became a family kitchen table, a neighborhood living room, and a backyard where life happened.
While rhe partners continue to explore a sale, they have made the decision to close during the off-season regardless. As this stage continues, Rob and I have chosen to close our chapter in the restaurant industry and step fully into our other businesses.
What makes this especially hard is knowing how much life we’ve shared with all of you — weddings, engagements, birthdays, retirements, baby showers, funerals, memorials, Drag Bingo, pasta nights, steak nights, psychic nights, 70s & 80s parties, wine promotions, holiday celebrations, and more. Add to that Sunday brunches, fundraisers, veterans’ tributes, and countless evenings filled with music, laughter, and connection . The Stand has always represented so much more than food.
Whether you visited once, made us part of your summers, or showed up week after week, our greatest hope is that you always felt welcomed and part of The Stand family. YOU are the reason this place became what it was — your loyalty, kindness, and support have been its heartbeat, and for that we are endlessly grateful.
Please know we are taking with us the love, the lessons, and every memory our hearts can hold.
With enormous gratitude,
Rob & Joy
