Originally established in 1977 by the head chef and owner Kosta Vretas and eventually ran by George Manasakis, Romano is currently a Family-Owned Restaurant ambitiously driven by aspirations and inventiveness of the Kulik Family, namely the two brothers Maksym and Denys, and our parents Dmytro and Olga. By becoming the next generations’ owners, we have made it our personal responsibility to keep i

n line with old Romano’s favorites that remained within the records our restaurant’s history since the very beginning of the journey - and most importantly - to continue its revival while giving our Romano a new life for generations to come. We do our best to offer an incredibly unique and nutritious menu, with a high emphasis on the use of variety of fresh herbs, spices, and locally available products, with the tiny but exquisite homemade dessert menu - to finish on the cozy note. Your restaurant experience would be elevated by our newly renovated and very accommodating attire, signature cocktails menu accompanied by the full liquor bar, and last but not least is our new and exclusive Wine List as a gem to every celebration and occasion. Follow-up to the previous post the trips are conducted on the regular basis:

Very few of the volunteers that are still risking their lives in order to deliver what humanitarian aid they can carry with them to those isolated areas.

We are only posting the information from the people that we are personally know and in touch with; anybody who is willing to participate and commit anything even $1 on your part would make a difference.

Our family is forever grateful for the support that everyone offers to us, however we believe we are in a rather prevailed position where we must use our opportunity to help and direct those who are willing to help to the right people and organisations.

Some grave news are keep coming from our home Donbas in Ukraine; there are still kids (the youngest is 3 months old) and other civilians that have no opportunity to leave the war zone anymore some due to disabilities or injuries, or due the age, no humanitarian corridors are provided by the occupiers and the roads are under constant shelling and monitoring.

Very few of the volunteers that are still risking their lives in order to deliver what humanitarian aid they can carry with them to those isolated areas.

We are only posting the information from the people that we are personally know and in touch with; anybody who is willing to participate and commit anything even $1 on your part would make a difference. Our Dear Friend Kruhlov Illia is one of those few people that we know. These are the people that volunteered in 2014-2015 when Russia had invaded the first time.

Ukrainians are astonished with the generosity of the support that they are already getting from the United States. But from our own experience when we were leaving the war zone in 2014 there always the few that suffer the most and not by choice, but unfortunate circumstances.

Tomorrow is Greek Orthodox Easter, and as Ukrainian Orthodox on Great Saturday our family and restaurant will be off today Saturday 23rd, and we would be continuing on regular hours on Tuesday. Thank you so much for understanding and looking forward to seeing everybody next week.

Dear Romano Patrons,

The restaurant won’t be open tomorrow Tuesday 22nd of March, as we are out of state meeting and helping to settle our relatives from Ukraine who had managed to escape the war already.

The restaurant would be back to regular hours Wednesday 23rd of March.

Our family is from Ukraine 🇺🇦 and the rest of our family are still inside the warzone. It’s extremely painful for us as our Family had went through that in 2014 and now they (Russia) had invaded the whole country. We are doing our best to spread the awareness and help people who are suffering now from unjustified conflict waged by Putin’s Russia. Our Prayers are with our family there and all of the Ukrainians who are struggling to survive. 🇺🇦💙💛
