Working on and older pinball. Often you have to adjust all the switches in all the relays. Takes time,but solves many problems at once.

My current project.
The first time I have tried to change the playfield on a pinball. I am currently 40+ hours into this. Have the wiring transferred from the old to the new. Hope to finish this next time I am there. HINT... Take lots and lots of pictures as you go so you can remember what went where! I have 62 pictures and still would have liked more for a few details.
Thank goodness for the digital camera.
It is not that hard, just time consuming. The remake is not perfect, as they pinned starter holes for most of the screws, but must have had problems converting the original spec sheets when they laid it out. Most of the holes are a hair off center.
After this one, I would consider another. The learning curve will make the next quicker.

Pinball Tournament Today, at Lost Kangaroo Pub in downtown Bradenton. Starts at 1PM till ? I will be resident tech in case anything goes wrong with a machine.

I have been repairing pinball, commercial video games and jukebox machines for over 40 years full time. I am still working for a local company that places machines in game rooms and bars.
I make service calls to homes and businesses on the central west coast of Florida. I can repair pinball from the old mechanical machines to today's digital. I also repair most brands of jukeboxes from the 45 RPM to CD's.
Do you want to put your machine in the hands of someone who only does this part time or a seasoned professional?
