Since March 2000, Montana Ale Works' hip, fun and friendly staff has been dedicated to serving scrumptious food, frothy pints and killer cocktails in a cool, big ol' railroad warehouse in downtown Bozeman. Originally a warehouse owned by the railroad, we thought this cool and funky old building had so much character it should live on as our dream - a bar, restaurant, and local hang out for the who

The pairing we didn’t know we needed, until we tried it!

Our Kale Caesar — chiffonade kale, shaved artisan cheeses, housemade sourdough croutons, creamy caesar dressing — gets its crunch and brightness matched by our fabuleuse French Gimlet: Whistling Andy cucumber gin, St. Germain, basil syrup, fresh mint, cucumber, lemon.

Cool, herbaceous, a little citrusy. Lots of late-summer green, garden-fresh energy in the glass and on the plate.

The perfect summer send off.

We put our team on the spot and asked: What’s your favorite thing about working at Ale Works?

Take your taco Tuesday to the next level with Our Ahi Tuna Poke Tacos!

Coastal-inspired, fresh, and just a little unexpected for Montana and they’ve met their match in Cold Springs Huckleberry Lemonade heaven.

Housemade lemonade + local huckleberry vodka from Bozeman Spirits Distilling = the kind of sip that makes the whole dish click.

Come taste this pairing for yourself!

It started with a handshake between two Bozeman staples. Now pouring Batch 7.

Freighthouse Bourbon is our collaboration with Bozeman Spirits Distillery, handcrafted right here in downtown with Montana grain and snowmelt water from Mount Blackmore. Named for the historic freighthouse, aged 4 years in a single barrel, and poured with a lot of local pride.

This is what happens when two local institutions decide to make something worth savoring together. Stop in and raise a glass to the partnership, it tastes like Bozeman!

In Hawaiian, “Ono” means delicious, which is how this dish got its name.

Grilled fresh Hawaiian Ono, served with jasmine rice, ginger-carrot puree, GVB bok choy, and a wasabi butter sauce that ties the whole plate together.

If you see this dish on the nightly specials, you’ll want to move fast!

It’s Tuesday!

Come treat yourself to some tacos and a margarita tonight!
