Welcome to Dry Hills Distillery! In 1905, the Droge family settled on a Montana farm known as the Dry Hills. Five generations later, the farm raises the select potatoes and mixed cereal grains used in Dry Hills Distillery’s genuinely handcrafted spirits. Using only the highest quality ingredients, Dry Hills Distillery strives to bring you only the best tasting, purest spirits – straight from our farm, to your bottle. Come in to the tasting room to try a signature cocktail and grab a bite to eat from one of Bozeman's Finest Food Trucks.

Reserve Rye is a true expression of the bold character of rye grain and the rugged spirit of Montana.

Crafted from a 100% rye mash bill, with every grain grown on our farm, this wh***ey is made using traditional wh***ey yeast and aged for a minimum of five years in 53-gallon American oak barrels with a #3 char.

Unlike traditional rye wh***eys that often incorporate corn or malted barley, we chose to use exclusively rye grain to showcase its full, uncompromising flavor. The result is a rich, robust wh***ey with bold spice, remarkable depth, and a lingering finish that reflects our passion for authentic Montana wh***ey.

Now that the crop is out of the ground, our surplus potatoes that don’t meet seed criteria are one step closer to their next stop: the distillery.

Soon, they’ll be transformed into farm-to-bottle spirits like Hollowtop Vodka and Montana Abbey Gin. From field to bottle, it all starts right here.
