This means more than I can fully express.
Michaela created this beautiful drawing of Banyan, a place that has meant so much to so many. We have been closed for almost a year, navigating a complicated and often difficult road, but we still hold onto hope that we will reopen soon.
What makes this even more special is why she made it.
“My friend asked me to make it as an anniversary gift for her boyfriend. They met at Banyan. I loved drawing it and would gladly make another for you.”
This piece will stay in my family for generations. It is a reminder of what Banyan has been, and what I still believe will be a continued story.
