Saddened to hear that Porters ex-staffer Jeff Lawrence (aka “El Jeffe”, aka “Crazy Jeff”, aka “Loud Jeff”) has passed away. 😢

He was our oldest (52yo I think) and our longest term Barback, mostly because he never made it out of training 🙄😂

Once he was single-handedly responsible, in the same day, for a one star review and a five star review.

With Jeff, you either loved him or you hated him, or oddly enough sometimes both.

Jeff was a bundle of energy and disorder, and most likely if you met him, you agree and most certainly remember him.

If you have some pictures of him at Porters, please post, as I couldn’t seem to dig one up (surprisingly) especially of him in his damn scarfs…

Thinking fond memories of him, and sending thoughts and prayers to his friends and family. 🫂
