Percy Jackson invites you to rock out with the cast of The Lightning Thief!

The musical Twelfth Night, based on William Shakespeare’s play and with music and lyrics by Shaina Taub, will be presented on Friday, February 20th at 7:30 and Saturday, February 21st at 2PM and 7:30PM at the Bordentown Performing Arts Center. This musical will be performed by the award-winning theatre students of Bordentown Regional High School. Twelfth Night is a rousing contemporary musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s classic romantic comedy about mistaken identity and self-discovery. This is the story of Viola, a young heroine who washes up on the shores of Illyria, disguises herself as a man, is sent to court a countess and falls hard for a Duke. As she navigates this strange and wonderful new land, she finds her true self and true love in the process. Featuring an original jazz-funk score by two-time Tony Award winner Shaina Taub, this musical version of Twelfth Night was named one of the best theatrical productions of 2018 by Time, The Hollywood Reporter and The Washington Post, and is appropriate for all audiences. The performance runs 90 minutes with no intermission.

The Bordentown Regional High School cast stars students Rylie Evans as Viola, Emmary McLaughlin as Olivia, Adam Pollard as Orsino, Brynn Bowyer as Sir Toby, Atlas Planas-Borgstrom as Sebastian, Sika Brenya as Maria, River Skalski as Malvolio, Alex Martucci as Sir Andrew, Andre McLaughlin as Antonio, Kade Sutton as Fabian, and Gabriella Cuccia as Feste. Alicia Kitner, Leah Eisele, Emilie Kelly, Peyton Todaro, Ansley Magby, Ari Rios, Ella James and Juliet Kraus are featured Illyrians. For more than a decade, the Greater Philadelphia Cappie Awards have honored BRHS Theatre performances with seventy-nine nominations and nineteen awards. The theatrical performances of BRHS have also been honored with numerous awards and nominations from the New Jersey State Thespian Festival and the New Jersey Theatre Night Awards. Bordentown Regional High School is home to International Thespian Society Troupe 6803.

The classic novel Little Women will be brought to life on stage on Saturday, November 15th at 2PM at the Bordentown Performing Arts Center. This play, adapted by Thomas Hischak, will be performed by the award-winning theatre students of Bordentown Regional High School. Adapted from Louisa May Alcott's beloved novel, Little Women follows the March sisters: ambitious Jo, motherly Meg, shy Beth, and fiery Amy as they grow up during the Civil War era, dealing with sisterly bonds, personal ambitions, societal expectations, and the challenges of their time. Under the guidance of their beloved mother, each girl strives to find her true self and live life on their own terms. Little Women will leave audiences filled with a sense of adventure, joy, heartache, and a lifting of the spirit.

Did you know that Bordentown Regional High School Theatre will be presenting two fall plays this month? Please come out and support our hard-working students as they bring these classic books to life onstage!

Little Women will be performed on November 14th at 7:30PM and November 15th at 2PM at the Bordentown Performing Arts Center. Adapted from Louisa May Alcott's beloved novel, Little Women follows the March sisters: ambitious Jo, motherly Meg, shy Beth, and fiery Amy as they grow up during the Civil War era, dealing with sisterly bonds, personal ambitions, societal expectations, and the challenges of their time.

The adventure A Wrinkle In Time will be presented on November 21st at 7:30 and 22nd at 2:00PM at the Bordentown Performing Arts Center. This play is adapted from Madeleine L'Engle's Newbery Medal-winning book, telling the story of young Meg Murray and the mysterious Ms. Ws, who must save both Meg's father and the world from an evil force that is rapidly casting its shadow over the universe.
