Ivory Tower Brewery It will be the first craft brewery on a state owned college campus since the time of prohibition.

The Ivory Tower Brewery (ITB) is situated on the campus of Appalachian State University in the Broyhill Inn and Conference Center in historic Boone, North Carolina. ITB is a non-profit, educational brewery that is completely faculty and student run and managed. The brewery will produce and distribute a number of specialized and seasonal beers for the purpose of educating students in the science an

d business of brewing. As part of the Fermentation Science Program (pending approval from the state), courses are being offered on the science, business, and production of craft beverages
