Back when I was sixteen, Country Days meant one thing: being intensely annoyed that they shut down the square and ruined our weekend cruising routine. No other spot had that same buzz — just seeing all the parking spots full of people visiting, the cars going bumper to bumper, and making that endless circle around the square.
Looking back, I have to laugh at how dramatic my teenage self was. Because fast forward to today, and I’m sitting here, running a business on that exact same square — realizing they're shutting down our side for festival setup tonight!
Safe to say my perspective has changed a bit. We might not be cruising the square anymore, but I wouldn’t trade being right in the middle of the festival activities for the world.
Fall Festival is here this weekend, our side (Main Street) is closing up at 5 pm, tonight (Fri 9/11/26) but our doors are wide open.
